I got the chance to attend a seminar last week about a small business opportunity. I am needing that exposure and knowledge since my dad was forced retired from his work. There were some issues in his company and we no longer want him to stay there. So I better make a move for my family to be in a progressive mode still. Good thing my dad got some money from the retirement even though it was forced and we will use them for the said small business we are planning.

The company is going to have a speaker talk to us about life insurance quotes this afternoon. I think this was the first time they have this because before, we have a choice whether or not which one will be our ‘carrier’. I think mostly this is for the newcomers in the company and they were trying to promote a good atmosphere. Actually, it s great idea that they do this because we no longer have to avail individual packages, instead, this wholesale maybe in favor for just for some discounts maybe done.

Poster printing, brochures and any kind of business marketing material has been the family’s business since my grandfather. It was their way of giving us all what we need in everyday life and it pave way for all of us to go through college. So, when I graduated from high school, my dad told me to help him manage the business and take up a course that will best suit how to run the business and that is, Business Administration. He was very polite when he ask me and I didn’t want to disappoint him since my brother, whom he thought would continue the legacy, took up another course in college. I also was fond of working here during summer days and I thought why not, I maybe helping the family and the future business owners as well.

My mother is a really good cook and we fee that she deserves all the hugs and kisses when we are done eating her masterpiece. But aside from that, we also think that she can open up her own food business because of her talent. She doesn’t like the idea of opening up a business but my dad always encourages her to push through. She ad a little background in cooking industry before she even married my dad so there’s no way she’s not going to make it.

We have a little capital for that and we know a good source for the stainless steel drums that we will use to stock and restock the foods. At this point in time, I can imagine my mom in the kitchen, me at the counter helping her and my dad and my brother serving the customers the most delighted dishes that a true chef like my mom could ever make.  It is so free to dream..:)

It is more convenient and much more cheaper if I buy office furniture online because they also offer discounts on shipping for non-US countries. US products are really at its best and they are elegant looking so I am really amaze on this offer. My business is just starting but I want to have high class furniture especially the reception area. It is the first thing that the clients see so if the reception area is pleasing to the eyes, it is much more likely for them to come in to an inviting office. Also, a good conference room would be fine for I am pleasing the eyes of my employees here. It will boost their confidence and it will make them work more and I mean hard work for they love the office they are in.

If you are looking for a job after college or even high school, job search is one of the most famous thing to do. You will not have to wait for the long lines in a particular company and wait for your turn to be interviewed because when you search online for a job, you just submit your resume and then they will call you for appointment no matter what your status is. This situation I think is beneficial because whether or not you will be rejected or accepted, the long lines will be a history in looking for jobs these days.
