After trying to figure out whether or not to buy a new laptop over a net book, I decided on the laptop because these days, it seems as though laptops are becoming the computer of choice. Sometimes we just want to upgrade our current model, or maybe we are making the switch from a desktop, plus there are so many choices to make with variations in performance, power, price, etc.  But the most important thing to know is what we plan to use the laptop for. This can help us narrow down what type of laptop we need and go from there.
